Join Dr DiMauro's Dream Team

See short videos below -  Please help us raise funds that will be matched by Penn Medical - Please give any amount- 100% participation is deeply  appreciated.

Through our work to develop a cure for APBD, we've all had the opportunity to engage with and be mentored, inspired by some extraordinary colleagues. These special people are heroes who change our world, but we rarely acknowledge their impact.

Dr. Salvatore DiMauro is one of those heroes. He has tirelessly worked for the treatment and cure of APBD and related diseases as:

----Esteemed member of APBDRF scientific advisory board since its inception;

-----Principal Investigator  for the APBD patient registry that began at Columbia University in 2014;

-----Pioneer in documenting the molecular basis of many enzyme deficiencies--

In 1968, Dr. DiMauro started his postdoctoral fellowship at the Department of Neurology at the University of Pennsylvania.

Please honor Dr. DiMauro!

You can do so by going to the "DiMauro Dream Team," a Penn Giving Page of the Million Dollar Bike Ride, an event held on 7 May 2016 in Philadelphia. Please help us raise $5000 with a dollar-for-dollar matching from Penn Medical. All of the proceeds will go directly to APBD research grants without any administrative costs taken out.

We're looking for 100% participation.

Thank you!
